How does one blank out an attribute to a null value? say I wish to blank out extensionAttribute12 from a CSV file. do I leave the cell blank or put a special code in like "null" or something?

Thanks.

Hi,

To clear the value using the Edit In Excel or CSV Update tool, just leave the cell blank. If you check the bulk modify results it should say extensionAttribute12 (clear) in the detail section after applying the update.

If you use the Bulk Modify dialog to perform the update, select the "Other" tab and pick "extensionAttribute12" from the drop down. Click the checkbox two times in the single valued string editor. The text input should be greyed out and contain the text "<Clear Attribute>".

Hope this helps,

David
