Not sure if I'm missing something but how do you get logging to work. I see the lines that say to remove the comment(!) but once I do that I get an error. Just looking for a simple write to the log when someone changes a password.

Thanks.

Hi,

It's these two settings that you need to change:

AuditFailedEvents
AuditSuccessfulEvents

Hope this helps,

David

Does this add the to local machine log though or to the DC's logs?

Can the program have it's own log file that could be redirected to a network share?

The log is only created on the local machine. You could maybe write a script to copy the information out of the local event log. This script might be a good starting point.
