Hi,

You can use the "<attr>sAMAccountName</attr>" placeholder instead of "%username%". See here for more info:

Hope this helps,

I need to change all of our users to point to a different server for their home drives. Currently our users home folder is named after their Active Directory User Logon Name. (ex. \\FILESERVER01\home\username) I tried to use the bulk update gui to update this field useing "\\FILESERVER02\home\%username%", but that did not work and the users are unable to connect to their home drives.

Are you saying below that i could instead us "\\FILESERVER02\home\<attr>sAMAccountName</attr>" instead? Or do I need to do this another way?

Thanks!!

Yes - that should work.

Note: Bulk AD Users will change the paths in Active Directory but won't create the folders in the file system - This shouldn't be a problem if you've moved the folders to the new location.
